FBA REIMBURSEMENT CLAIM FINDER · RUNS IN YOUR BROWSER · NOTHING UPLOADED

Which lost and damaged FBA units did Amazon never pay you for?

Load your Inventory Ledger and your Reimbursements report and get, per SKU, the units the ledger shows lost or damaged that were neither found nor reimbursed, what they are worth, the date each claim window closes, and a draft case text for Seller Support. Paid recovery services do this comparison for a cut of what they win; here it is free and needs no access to your seller account.

The files are read in this browser tab and never leave your device. Independent of Amazon and every recovery service: not affiliated with or endorsed by any of them. Amazon decides every claim, and the values are estimates.

1. Your two reports

Inventory Ledger: Seller Central → Reports → Fulfillment → Inventory Ledger, summary view, needs Date, MSKU and Lost and/or Damaged; Found, Title, FNSKU and Unknown Events are used when present. Reimbursements (optional, but without it every loss looks unclaimed): Reports → Fulfillment → Reimbursements, needs sku, reason and quantity-reimbursed-total. Use the same dates for both, going back 18 months if you can.

One row per shipment and SKU with Shipment ID, Created date, MSKU, Units expected (what you sent) and Units located (what Amazon counted in). Seller Central → Shipping Queue → a shipment → Track shipment shows both counts; paste them into a sheet and export it as CSV. The tool lists shipments that arrived short and are still inside the claim window.

Choose the ledger file or paste it, then click Find claims.

Common questions

How do I find lost or damaged FBA inventory Amazon did not reimburse?

Download the Inventory Ledger (summary view) and the Reimbursements report from Seller Central, then drop both here. The tool totals the units the ledger shows lost or damaged per SKU, subtracts units found later and units already reimbursed, and lists what is left with a value and a file-by date.

Which reports do I need?

Reports → Fulfillment → Inventory Ledger (summary view, the columns include Date, MSKU, FNSKU, Found, Lost, Damaged and Unknown Events) and Reports → Fulfillment → Reimbursements (approval-date, reason, sku, quantity-reimbursed-total, amount-total). Use the same date range for both, and at least 18 months if you can.

How long do I have to claim lost or damaged inventory?

Amazon has commonly allowed claims within 18 months of the event, and often reimburses on its own after an investigation, so a very recent loss is not yet a claim. Both numbers are editable on the page because Amazon changes its rules; check the current policy in Seller Central.

How is the value of a missing unit worked out?

If you were already reimbursed for that SKU, the average amount per unit of those payments is used. Otherwise it uses the default value you type, which is a placeholder. Amazon decides the actual amount of any reimbursement.

Is this the same as a paid reimbursement service?

It does the same first step, comparing the ledger with reimbursements, in your browser and without giving anyone access to your seller account. It does not file cases for you, and it cannot promise Amazon will pay: you review each claim and open the case yourself.
