The offer screen shows a payout and a distance. It does not show what the miles cost, how long you will wait at the restaurant, or the empty drive afterwards. Type what the offer says and what you expect, and see what it pays per hour and per mile after the car, and the lowest payout that meets your own floor.
Only fuel and upkeep, the costs that grow with each mile, are charged to an offer. Insurance and phone plan are owed either way; the session calculator spreads them across a whole shift. Want a tax reserve too? How much to set aside. Have a full trip export? The earnings report analyzer shows which app, weekday and hour pay best.
Divide what it pays after the car by the time it really takes, from the moment you accept to the moment you are free for the next offer. Count the drive to the pickup, the wait at the restaurant, the drive to the customer, and any empty drive back to a busy area. Example: a $7.50 offer that is 3 miles to the customer, 2.5 miles to the restaurant and 2.5 miles back, 33 minutes in all, costs about $1.56 in fuel and wear at 28 MPG, $3.49 gas and 7 cents a mile for upkeep. That is $10.81 an hour after the car, not the $13.64 the app’s pay-per-hour suggests. For an $18 an hour floor, the offer would have to pay at least $11.46.
There is no right figure, only your own. The page solves it: type the net-per-hour and net-per-mile floors you want and it reports the lowest payout that clears both for the distance and time of that offer. Whichever floor is stricter sets the number.
Those are owed whether you accept the offer or not, so they do not change the choice between accepting and declining. Only fuel and wear, which grow with every mile, are charged to an offer. The session calculator on the main page spreads fixed costs across a whole shift to answer a different question: what the shift netted.
If the drop-off is in a zone where offers come quickly, enter 0 miles and minutes back. If you will have to drive somewhere else before the next offer, that drive is part of this order, and leaving it out is the usual way an offer looks better than it was.
