Your crew hourly wage, overhead on direct cost and target net margin are the same on every job you bid. Save them once and every trade bid calculator here opens with your numbers instead of a stranger’s ballpark.
This tool has no separate payroll-burden field, so your saved burden rate is left alone here.
Kept in this browser only, on this site’s own storage. Nothing is uploaded, and clearing your browser data clears it. Forgetting them leaves the numbers already on this bid alone.
Keep this bid so it is still here when the customer calls back. Every number on this form is saved together, under a name you choose, along with the figure it gave you, and restoring one puts the whole job back exactly as you priced it. Mark each one won or lost when you hear — the ones you have not heard back on stay listed as waiting, with how long they have been out. Once a few have come back, this panel says how long yours actually take, and how many are still out past that. Once enough of them have been decided, it also says whether the bids you save here have been landing differently lately than they used to. Once a few here are decided, this panel says what the ones you won averaged against the ones you lost, so you can see where your price tips. On a lost bid you can also note what the job went for, if you heard — then it says how far off you actually were, which is the part guessing gets wrong in both directions. On a won one, note what the job came to once it was done and this panel says what those jobs actually kept, so you can see whether the ones you are winning are worth winning — and it tells you how many of your won jobs are still missing that figure, rather than going quiet about it. Restoring a bid also pins the figure it was saved at above this panel, so when the customer asks what it costs without the tear-off, the new number is shown against the one they already have — and by how much, in money and in percent.

FOR INDEPENDENT HOME STAGERS
Time on market decides your margin, not the staging price.
A staging quote covers an included term, but the furniture package keeps costing you storage, insurance, and wear for every month it sits in the house — and the market, not you, decides how long that is. This free calculator prices a job from that included term, then checks whether your extension fee even covers what an extra month costs you, and lets you plug in the real time on market once the listing sells. Already sending proposals through a CRM? See this calculator vs. HoneyBook for what each tool is actually for.

This is a planning floor from the numbers you typed, not an audited statement. It does not add sales tax, insurance beyond your own carrying-cost figure, or a damage-and-replacement policy unless you fold those into other cost yourself.
Hand the customer a proposal
The price above is for you. This is the page you print or save as a PDF and give to the customer — your details, their details, the scope, the deposit split, and a line for them to sign. Your business details are saved on this device so you only type them once; the customer’s details are never saved.
Everything on the printed page is text you typed or a number this calculator worked out. It contains no warranty, lien, or cancellation wording — those depend on your jurisdiction and your contract, and this tool is not the place to invent them.

Everything on this page runs in your browser. Your job details, prices, and listing dates are never uploaded, there is no account, and nothing is saved when you close the tab. We count only anonymous local feature events (quote-priced, term-checked) so we can tell whether the calculator gets used — no job details, prices, or dates are recorded, and Do Not Track / Global Privacy Control turn it off automatically.
Common questions
Why does the calculator price the staging job at the included term instead of how long I expect the listing to take?
Because that is what a staging agreement actually promises: a price for an included term, with anything beyond it billed separately as an extension. Pricing the base fee from your expected time-on-market instead would double-count carrying cost for months that are supposed to be billed as an extension, not baked into the sticker price.
What happens if my extension fee is lower than my furniture carrying cost?
Every month the listing runs long then costs you more to keep that furniture package off the market than you charge the seller for it, so the fee meant to protect your margin instead erodes it — and the loss has no ceiling the longer the listing takes to sell. The calculator flags this directly and reports how many extension months would erase the job's entire built-in profit.
Why is the design consultation fee treated as pure profit with no added cost?
Because in this model the consultation is billed once regardless of term length and adds no furniture, storage, or crew cost of its own. If your business does incur a real added cost for it (a second visit, printed materials), fold that into the flat other-cost field.
Does anything about my job details get uploaded?
No. Every field on this page runs in your browser only. Nothing is sent to a server, there is no account, and nothing you type is saved anywhere — it exists only in the page while it is open. Usage counting only tallies anonymous feature events, and you can turn it off with the button above.
