Your crew hourly wage, overhead on direct cost and target net margin are the same on every job you bid. Save them once and every trade bid calculator here opens with your numbers instead of a stranger’s ballpark.
This tool has no separate payroll-burden field, so your saved burden rate is left alone here.
Kept in this browser only, on this site’s own storage. Nothing is uploaded, and clearing your browser data clears it. Forgetting them leaves the numbers already on this bid alone.
Keep this bid so it is still here when the customer calls back. Every number on this form is saved together, under a name you choose, along with the figure it gave you, and restoring one puts the whole job back exactly as you priced it. Mark each one won or lost when you hear — the ones you have not heard back on stay listed as waiting, with how long they have been out. Once a few have come back, this panel says how long yours actually take, and how many are still out past that. Once enough of them have been decided, it also says whether the bids you save here have been landing differently lately than they used to. Once a few here are decided, this panel says what the ones you won averaged against the ones you lost, so you can see where your price tips. On a lost bid you can also note what the job went for, if you heard — then it says how far off you actually were, which is the part guessing gets wrong in both directions. On a won one, note what the job came to once it was done and this panel says what those jobs actually kept, so you can see whether the ones you are winning are worth winning — and it tells you how many of your won jobs are still missing that figure, rather than going quiet about it. Restoring a bid also pins the figure it was saved at above this panel, so when the customer asks what it costs without the tear-off, the new number is shown against the one they already have — and by how much, in money and in percent.

FOR INDEPENDENT MOBILE PHOTO BOOTH OPERATORS
A booked hour isn't a paid hour.
A "3-hour, $500" package prices only the hours a guest sees the booth running. Setup, teardown, and the drive to the venue are real committed time, and an unlimited-print package's paper and ink cost depends on how busy the event actually is. This free calculator finds the real price for one booking, flags the print-volume risk, and checks a price you're already considering.

Everything on this page runs in your browser. Your event details, prices, and costs are never uploaded, there is no account, and nothing is saved when you close the tab. The one exception is the shareable link, and it is one you choose: pressing “Copy shareable link” writes your numbers into the URL itself so whoever you send it to opens the same quote — nothing is stored on a server, but treat that link like the figures it carries and send it only to the person quoting the event. We count only anonymous local feature events (quote-priced, proposed-price-checked, link-copied) so we can tell whether the calculator gets used — no event details, prices, or costs are recorded, and Do Not Track / Global Privacy Control turn it off automatically.
Common questions
Why count setup and teardown time when the guest only sees the booth running for the booked hours?
Because you and your equipment are committed to the job for that time too. A 3-hour package with an hour of setup and 45 minutes of teardown is 4.75 hours on site before travel — pricing only the 3 booked hours quietly cuts your real hourly rate every time.
Why does the calculator treat print cost as a risk, not just a cost line?
Unlimited-print packages are quoted from an estimated print count, but the actual count depends on how many guests show up and use the booth — a busy open bar can print far more strips than a seated dinner. The calculator reports what share of your price the print line already represents, so you can see how much room is left before extra prints erase the margin you built the quote on.
How is the recommended overtime rate different from just charging my hourly rate for the extra time?
It marks the extra hour up the same way the rest of the quote is marked up — attendant pay plus your overhead rate, divided by your target margin — so an event that runs long still earns the same margin instead of just covering the added labor at cost.
Does anything about my event details get uploaded?
No. Every field on this page runs in your browser only. Nothing is sent to a server, there is no account, and nothing you type is saved anywhere — it exists only in the page while it is open. The shareable link is the one thing that travels, and only when you press the button for it: it carries your numbers inside the URL itself rather than uploading them anywhere, so whoever you send it to opens the same quote — send it only to the person you are quoting. Usage counting only tallies anonymous feature events, and you can turn it off with the button above.
