ADA TITLE II WEBSITE ACCESSIBILITY EVIDENCE

Turn an axe scan into a Title II evidence record.

Paste an axe-core JSON export from your government website to get a dated summary split into WCAG 2.1 AA required findings and best-practice extras. Nothing leaves this browser. Not sure which deadline applies to your entity? Look up your ADA Title II compliance date. Considering an accessibility widget instead of, or alongside, documenting your own scans? See how this evidence report differs from accessiBe. Formatting a Shopify storefront scan instead? The Shopify accessibility evidence report turns the same kind of axe-core JSON into a dated storefront record. Preparing a procurement VPAT/ACR for a software product rather than a government website? See the VPAT / Accessibility Conformance Report generator instead -- it formats your own self-reported WCAG conformance answers into the standardized procurement document. The PDFs your site links are "web content" under this same rule too -- see the PDF accessibility tag checker for a no-upload evidence report on a document's own tag structure.

Common questions

Does this evidence record prove my government website is ADA Title II compliant?

No. It formats whatever axe-core found into a dated, readable record split into WCAG 2.1 AA required findings and best-practice extras — it does not run a scan itself, does not check anything axe-core cannot detect (screen-reader usability, keyboard traps, and most manual-review items are outside any automated tool's reach), and does not determine legal compliance. Automated testing typically finds a minority of WCAG issues. Treat this as documentation of one automated test at one point in time, not a compliance certificate.

What compliance date applies to my city, county, school, or special district?

It depends on your entity's population and type. Use the deadline lookup: large state/local government entities (population 50,000+) have until April 26, 2027; smaller entities and any special district government (school, water, fire, transit, or other special-purpose district) have until April 26, 2028, per the U.S. Department of Justice's 2026 rule extension.

Where do I get the axe JSON to paste in?

Run axe-core (the axe DevTools browser extension, axe-core CLI, or a similar automated tool) against your site and export its JSON results — this page only formats output you already generated elsewhere, it does not crawl or scan your site itself.

Does my scan data get uploaded anywhere?

No. The JSON you paste is parsed and formatted entirely in your browser; nothing is sent to a server. Usage counting only tallies anonymous feature events in localStorage, with an opt-out checkbox above.
