1. Your sales report
Needs an Order Date and a sale price (Order Price or Sale Price). Used when present: Brand, Listing Title, SKU, Order ID, Poshmark Fee, Net Earnings, Seller Shipping Discount, Listed Date (for days to sell), a Cost column, and Status (cancelled, returned and refunded orders are left out and counted). Comma, tab and semicolon files, quoted fields, US and day-first dates and UTF-16 exports are read. Rows that cannot be read are listed with a line number and reason.
2. What you paid (optional, but it is what makes this profit)
A cost column in the file is used as it is. Anything you paste here overrides it for the items it matches, by SKU first, then order ID, then exact listing title. Sales with no cost are left out of profit and brand verdicts.

The model, and what it leaves out
- Poshmark's fee is read from the file's fee column. Without one, the published US schedule is applied: a flat $2.95 under $15.00, 20% of the sale price at $15.00 or more, and never more than the price. The schedule is a constant in this tool, not a live lookup.
- Payout is the net earnings column when the file has one, otherwise sale price minus fee minus any seller shipping discount. Shipping deductions are the discount column, or the gap between price minus fee and net earnings.
- Profit is payout minus the cost you gave for that item. Items with no cost have no profit figure and are not counted in margins or brand verdicts.
- Reconciles. The brand rows and the month rows each add up to the totals at the top.
- Effective fee rate is fee over sale price. Days to sell is listed date to order date, only where the file has both.
- Brands to stop sourcing are brands whose costed sales lost money in total, with at least three costed sales. With no cost data at all, the page names only brands where the fee alone takes 25% or more of the price.
- Not modelled: sales tax and the marketplace facilitator rules, income tax, Posh Party or promotion costs, boosts, returns handled outside the file, packaging, your own time, and anything not in the file.
Common questions
Which of my Poshmark items and brands actually make money?
Download My Sales Report from Poshmark (or keep a sheet with an order date, brand and sale price) and drop it here. The tool takes the sale price, subtracts Poshmark's fee and any shipping deduction to get your payout, then subtracts what you paid for the item if you give a cost column or paste SKU,cost pairs. What is left is profit per item, per brand and per month. Nothing is uploaded; the file is read in your browser.
What is Poshmark's fee and why is the effective rate higher on cheap items?
Poshmark's published US schedule is a flat $2.95 for sales under $15.00 and 20% of the sale price at $15.00 or more. The flat fee is a bigger share of a small sale: a $10 sale pays 29.5%, a $5 sale pays 59%. The tool shows each item's effective rate and how much more the flat fee cost than 20% would have. Check the schedule against your own statement, since Poshmark can change it.
How do I give the tool what I paid for each item?
Either add a cost column to the file (Cost, Item Cost, Cost Basis or Purchase Price) or paste one SKU,cost pair per line in step 2. Pairs match on the SKU column first, then the order ID, then the exact listing title, and a pasted cost overrides the file's. Sales with no cost are left out of profit and brand verdicts, and the page says how many.
How are shipping discounts and losses found?
If the file has a seller shipping discount column it is used. Otherwise any gap between sale price minus fee and the net earnings column is counted as a deduction. Where the file has net earnings, that figure is trusted as your payout.
Are the column names right for my export?
They are matched by alias from memory of Poshmark's export, and no real export was available when this was built. If your file is not read, the page names the rows it skipped and why; a sheet with the headers Order Date, Brand, Listing Title, Order Price, Poshmark Fee and Net Earnings always works.
Is this tax or financial advice?
No. It applies arithmetic to the file and the costs you supply and does not replace your own judgement or a qualified tax adviser. It is independent of Poshmark and is not affiliated with or endorsed by Poshmark, Inc.
